Surah Al-Ahzab (The Combined Forces) is a Medinan surah of 73 verses. It addresses the pivotal Battle of the Trench (Khandaq), the marriages of the Prophet ﷺ, the special status and conduct expected of the Mothers of the Believers, and the divine command of hijab.
